We are seeking an Estimator for a full time salaried position in our award winning building company pricing commercial and some residential projects.

Australian work rights are required for this position.

The role will include but is not limited to:

  • Estimating
  • Preparing quotations and tender submissions
  • Establishing and maintaining strong contractor relationships
  • Client liaison and relationship building
  • Assisting with contract administration if and when required

Ideally the successful candidate will:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years Estimating experience in both residential and commercial sectors however graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Graduates without the 2 years estimating experience are welcome to apply for this role.
  • Possess strong experience in the building industry and/or a Quantity Surveying, Cert IV or other relevant building qualification or posses reasonable industry experience. This role could suit a tradesperson looking to start a career off the tools.
  • Relevant industry experience can substitute for formal qualifications for this estimator role.
  • Be able to manage estimating multiple small to medium sized projects at any one time.
  • Be able to attend site, inspect projects and understand what is required.
  • Be competent in using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Possess a 'can do' attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have strong organisational skills and possess the ability to prioritise.

This position will be based at our Richmond office. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary package based on their experience and abilities.
