We are seeking a passionate
Reinstatement and Refurbishment Coordinator
to oversee the delivery of resale renovation works across our portfolio of Villages within
Victoria and South Australia
on a
Part-time basis
(30 hours per week).
Reporting to the National Reinstatement Manager, this role collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders to coordinate reinstatement and refurbishments of properties to create the most desirable places to live for our residents.
This role combines project coordination and contract administration, including scope documentation, tendering, supplier engagement, and client-side contractor management. Strong communication, time management, and stakeholder engagement are essential to ensure a seamless customer experience and timely project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end delivery of reinstatement and refurbishment projects
- Ensure works are completed by settlement date
- Undertake general contract administration and monthly performance reporting
- Conduct in person and remote property inspections for reinstatement projects as required
- Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets
- Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets
- Manage purchase orders and supplier invoicing
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with local suppliers and builders
About You
- Experience coordinating residential builds, renovations or commercial fit outs
- Experience coordinating and negotiating with suppliers/trades
- Demonstrate basic understanding of key regulatory building requirements
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently
- Excellent coordination, communication, time management and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to quality, professionalism and attention to detail
- Certificate IV in Building and Construction, Real Estate Practice, Project Management, or other relevant field (Desired)
- This role is based in the SA region and some travel using your own car will be required – Drivers Licence (Required)
