The Opportunity

We're seeking a Junior Construction Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, detail-focused role designed to support our site and office teams by managing the day-to-day tasks that keeps projects moving. If you're organised, proactive, and eager to learn the ropes of construction project delivery, this is your chance to build a career in a supportive environment.

What You'll Do

  • Site Support:

  • Conduct quality audits against project specifications.

  • Perform safety audits to ensure compliance with company and legislative requirements.
  • Assist Site Supervisors with managing and coordinating site-based activity
  • Identify and resolve scoping issues prior to and after the commencement of site activity
  • Work with engineers and architects to work through design and engineering issues

  • Scheduling & Logistics:

  • Confirm deliveries, book inspections, and manage plant hire

  • Work with site team to develop Site programmes and look ahead programmes for distribution to client and site team
  • Schedule in house labour against site objectives and programming deadlines
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external subcontractors and stakeholders

  • Compliance & Documentation:

  • Maintain subcontractor compliance (SWMS, insurances) and update site diaries.

  • Capture QA photos and file ITP documentation.

  • Variation & Claims Support:

  • Log RFIs and variations, gather evidence for claims.

  • Communicate clearly with clients, our site team and any external contractors
  • Prepare monthly claim forecasts for reporting

  • Reporting:

  • Collect site data for weekly Work-In-Progress reports

  • Produce various reports on project performance
What We're Looking For
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • Comfortable with technology (project management software experience a plus).
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Previous construction admin experience is ideal but not essential — we'll train the right person.
