Adelaide, South Australia Relationships Australia South Australia Full time
  • Full-Time, Fixed Term Position (12 month contract)
  • Competitive Annual Salary + Super + Salary Packaging
  • Based in Adelaide with travel to alternative RASA sites

The Project Manager, New Facilities & Property is responsible end-to-end delivery of new site identification and establishment, including fit-outs and capital builds, across all RASA properties and infrastructure. This role has a strong emphasis on project management, overseeing budgets, project schedules, forecasting, and ensuring property projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards.

Shape the Spaces Where Community Impact Happens

Relationships Australia South Australia (RASA) is seeking a motivated property and design professional to coordinate the planning, design, and delivery of new and refurbished sites across our state-wide network. You'll work with architects, consultants, and contractors to turn community-service spaces into welcoming, functional environments that reflect RASA's values and support our vital work with families and individuals.

This is a client-side role for someone who enjoys balancing creativity with practical delivery: transforming a vision on paper into real spaces where people connect, heal, and grow.

Who we are looking for

You're an organised and proactive project professional who thrives on variety and problem-solving. You can read a floor plan, manage timelines and budgets, and communicate clearly with both trades and executives. You're curious about how people use spaces and want to see your work make a difference.

This role would suit:

  • An architecture or interior design graduate seeking to build client-side project experience, or
  • A property / project coordinator with exposure to leasing, fit-outs or refurbishments, or
  • A fast learner with excellent communication and organisation skills who's ready to grow.

You'll bring:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Property, Architecture, Engineering, or Business (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder-management skills, able to juggle multiple projects at once.
  • A practical understanding of how design, construction and operations connect.
  • A solutions-focused mindset, strong attention to detail, and genuine interest in RASA's community mission.

What you will be doing

  • Lead the end-to-end project management process for new site identification, acquisition, design, fit-out, establishment, and major refurbishments, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with RASA's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, resources, and risks for all property-related initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Lead and manage all lease negotiations, renewals, new lease agreements, and associated compliance, including maintenance planning and execution.
  • Ensure all buildings meet essential service maintenance requirements and WHS compliance, actively managing property-related risks, insurance coverage, and deficiency rectification protocols.
  • Develop and manage strategic supplier contracts for all major property services, leading vendor selection, negotiation, and performance management.
  • Act as a key point of contact for executive leadership on property-related projects, providing regular reports and project updates.
  • Engage in effective and senior-level interaction and negotiation with service providers, regulatory authorities, government bodies, and internal stakeholders on project and operational goals.
