About the role

An exciting opportunity exists to join Western Health Automated Medication Dispensing Solutions implementation project team. This position will work closely with the Senior Project Manager - ADS, to deliver an electronic medication management system at New Footscray Hospital.

You will be a suitably qualified pharmacist, ideally with experience in medication safety. Working with the team you will embark on an organisation wide project to implement Automated Medication Dispensing cabinets at Western Health. This is a fixed term, full time position until 31st of October 2025, based primarily at Footscray Hospital.

Key responsibilities:

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Providing subject matter expertise on Pharmacy workflows
  • Information gathering to support ADS system design decisions
  • Current state workflow reviews
  • Future state workflow creation and validation
  • Assisting with testing
  • Evaluating workflow changes
  • Developing and conducting training and change management activities
  • Commissioning of cabinets and other operational readiness tasks and
  • Effectively communicating with clinicians
