Level 5 Administrator in Community Child Care Centre

Permanent part-time Position + 5% above award + Superannuation + flexible working arrangements. 24hrs per week

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced part-time Finance & Office Administrator to join our team at the City Community Children's Centre in Adelaide. In this role, you will be responsible to the director for managing the financial and administrative operations of our child care service, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the centre.

To be successful in this role, you must have proven experience in financial administration, preferably within the childcare sector and sound working knowledge of MYOB or similar.

Candidates must demonstrate a minimum 1-2 years of financial administration experience.

Experience with MYOB or similar accounting software is essential for this position.

Previous experience working in Early years services and knowledge of SPIKE software and or Child Care Subsidy funding, will be advantageous.

We are looking for a person with proven experience in a similar finance and office administration role, preferably within the childcare sector and with strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with parents, staff, and external stakeholders.

Your duties will include:

  • Managing the daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, End to end payroll processing, Profit & Loss, Monthly Reports, BAS and financial reports in consultation with the director
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation
  • Billing using Spike software, banking and general office tasks
  • Ordering Centre supplies
  • Liaising with families, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
