Healthscope's Casual Flexi Crew is looking to employ RNs that are highly motivated, dedicated to the provision of exceptional nursing care and have the flexibility to work across one or a number of our acute hospitals within Melbourne.
The Flexi Crew is led by a dedicated and passionate manager that will encourage and establish opportunities for clinical growth and development within the organisation. We are seeking individuals who are organised, proactive, resourceful and are willing to excel within the clinical environment. Opportunities to participate in education programs, experience different specialties and work towards permanent positions if desired are available to the team.

We are looking for casual staff that can undertake shifts within our day chemotherapy/infusion centres at the following sites including:
· John Fawkner Private Hospital
· Ringwood Private Hospital

We are seeking individuals with:
· Current AHPRA Registration
· Minimum of 1 years' experience post registration working in oncology/haematology
· Experience with the delivery & management of chemotherapy/immunotherapy infusion practice and/or related cancer treatments
· Completion of recognised chemotherapy course/Anti-cancer administration course (ADAC)
· Current IV cannulation competency
· Competent in Central venous Access Device management (PICC & PORT)
· Postgraduate qualifications in cancer nursing or chemotherapy administration (desirable but not required)
Essential criteria:
· Working rights within Australia
· Current police check and working with children's check
· Commitment to Quality Patient Care
· Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
· Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Works well independently and within a team
· Basic computer skills
As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:
· Deliver evidence-based nursing care
· Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
· Ensure patient and staff safety
· Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their perioperative needs
