Procurement Officer – Dental Supplies

Location: Moorabbin, VIC

Ultimate Dental Supplies is a trusted supplier of high-quality dental products and equipment, serving laboratories, prosthetists, and dentists across Australia and New Zealand for almost 30 years. We are seeking a proactive Procurement Officer to help us transform our purchasing activities into a professional procurement function that adds value, drives efficiency, and ensures reliable supply to our customers.

About the Role

This role will suit someone with solid purchasing experience who wants to step up into a broader procurement role. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will manage day-to-day purchasing while developing structured procurement processes, strengthening supplier relationships, and supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Raising and managing purchase orders for local and international suppliers.
  • Coordinating freight, imports, and compliance with health regulator's requirements.
  • Assisting with supplier negotiations and building strong vendor partnerships.
  • Monitoring stock levels and collaborating with sales and warehouse teams.
  • Supporting the development of procurement policies and reporting.

About You

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in purchasing/procurement, ideally in healthcare, medical, or FMCG.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Confident communicator with negotiation ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems (MYOB advantageous).
  • Keen to grow into a more strategic procurement role.
