Procurement and Contracts Officer | Part-time 0.8 FTE | Hybrid
We're looking for a detail-oriented Procurement and Contracts Officer to join a purpose-led organisation delivering essential services across Victoria.
In this role, you'll be the go-to person for all things procurement and contract management — from drafting and negotiating agreements to managing supplier onboarding, renewals, and compliance. You'll play a key part in ensuring the organisation's partnerships and purchasing run smoothly and deliver real value.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and support procurement activities across the organisation, including RFQs, supplier engagement, and evaluation processes
- Oversee the full contract lifecycle — including drafting, reviewing, tracking milestones, and coordinating renewals
- Maintain accurate records, including the central contracts register and supplier documentation
- Provide advice on procurement policies, probity, and compliance
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and drive value-for-money outcomes
About you:
- You've worked in procurement or contract management, ideally within a regulated or service-based setting (e.g. NFP, healthcare, government, education)
- You're detail-driven and proactive, with a practical approach to problem-solving
- Confident working across teams and building strong supplier relationships
- You value ethical practice, accountability, and inclusive workplaces
What's on offer:
- Permanent part-time position (0.8 FTE)
- Highly flexible role with only 1 day in office per week required
- Supportive, engaged team with genuine flexibility
- Be part of a values-driven organisation with a strong social impact
