About the Role

Under the direction of the Resource Recovery Centre Site Supervisor, the Resource Recovery Centre Team Leader is required to

• Supervise and participate in all operational functions of the Resource Recovery Centre gatehouse and resale shop ensuring the centre is professionally and efficiently run.
• To project a positive public image at all times and maintain a standard of behaviour when dealing with residents and ratepayers that will bring credit to the team and Council
• Operating within Council's Resource Recovery Centre in accordance with operational and safety procedures, ensure safe and proper work practices are adhered to in accordance with current OH&S legislation and relevant industry standards

Skills & Experience

• Experience in the Waste Management Industry, demonstrated capacity to supervise others and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in frontline customer management including conflict resolution, being a good role model promoting team unity across different site area's
