**About the College**
***RMC is an Anglican residential college at Macquarie University, Sydney. RMC has capacity for approximately 300 undergraduate and postgraduate residents from over thirty-five different nations.
We are currently seeking an experienced Business Manager to join our team.
***About the Position**
The Business Manager’s chief task is to facilitate the work, growth, and ministry of the College. Reporting to the Master, the Business Manager is a member of the College Senior Management Team and Minute Secretary to the RMC Board and 3 of its sub-committees.
The range of responsibilities includes the preparation of financial reports to assist management decision making; the preparation of statutory annual accounts; making recommendations to the Master and Board regarding cash flow management, cost control and revenue flows; accountability for the financial position of the College; food services management; asset and property management; oversight of HR, WH&S and IT; management of property development; and special projects. An experienced team comprising of the College Finance Manager, Chef Manager, and Facilities Manager provides support for this role.
**About You**
The Business Manager must have:
- a record of achievement in the commercial, business, charitable and/or educational sectors;
- evidence of excellent analytical, financial, interpersonal and organisational skills;
- a demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, delegate and encourage responsibility-taking whilst maintaining strong control; and
- a clear personal commitment to the achievement of the Christian vision and mission of the College.
An appropriate tertiary qualification in Finance / Accounting is essential. Post Graduate qualifications and membership of an accounting professional body are highly desirable. You will need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and will be required to possess or obtain a valid Working with Children and National Police Check.
