About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Wallboard Tool Company Pty Ltd in our Burleigh Heads, QLD. This is a part-time role where you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records and accounts of the company.

This position requires 25-30 hours per week commitment.

What you'll be doing

As a Bookkeeper | Accounts Admin, you will work hands on within our business and responsible for full Accounting & Admin functions , including but not limited to:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Payroll
  • GST and BAS preparation and reporting
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • End of month management including payroll tax, journals, expense claims, etc
  • Account queries
  • STP finalisation
  • Work Cover

  • Relevant qualification in Accounting
  • Experience in a similar bookkeeping role
  • High level attention to detail and analytical skills
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset with the initiative and ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and familiarity with small business administration/accounting and general office procedures
  • Australian work authorisation is required for this position
