Qualifications & experience

  • Financial Management Experience: 5-10 years of demonstrated financial management, reporting, and control experience.
  • Proficiency in Xero: Strong proficiency in Xero accounting software.
  • Excel Skills: Proficient in Excel and across a range of MS suite platforms and other reporting systems and tools.
  • Financial Governance: A thorough understanding of financial governance practices.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communicator in writing, spoken word, and presentation.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Ensuring financial processes and records are maintained and delivered in an accurate and timely manner including.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Xero accounting software.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Liaise with external service providers including External Accountants.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare end-of-month financial reports for management review and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
