Who is Savic Motorcycles?

We are an Australian motorcycle brand, designing and building high-performance electric motorbikes in our workshop in Melbourne - and selling nationwide.

Who are you?

  • You ride (and love) motorcycles, and are excited by the future of EV and what that means for riders.
  • You've got at least 3+ years of marketing experience working in an inhouse marketing team or you might have a sprinkle of agency experience too.
  • You are a people-person who loves to proactively communicate with others, sharing updates on projects and making sure our team and customers feel excited and confident that we're crushing their job.
  • You love social media - you live in the comments section, use brainrot tiktok terms and enjoy seeing how trends start and evolve.
  • You are great at communicating - you don't waffle but you do articulate clearly and succinctly. People understand what you're saying.
  • You want to work with other passionate, creative people. You've got memes to share in our Slack channels
  • You follow through - if you say that you're going to do something, it always gets done, people can rely on you.
  • Someone might describe you as a creative nerd - you've got fun ideas, but you always want to make sure they match in performance and data.

What is the job?

  • Reporting in to the Chief Growth Officer, you will own social media, events and customer comms across our digital touchpoints.
  • You'll be reviewing social trends, creating content for our social platforms that ensure we're sharing our brand story and engaging people with our future-forward motorbikes.
  • You'll set up our events, including test ride programs all over Australia, travelling with the team and meeting customers.
  • Each week you'll share insights and what's working/not working in our team WIP, and contribute to our team discussions about how we want to optimise and get better together.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing roles, preference is for some inhouse marketing experience.
  • Strong communication skills: presentation, copy writing and verbal.
  • Experience managing others
