We invite you to submit your application for the fulltime position of Systems Analyst – GIS. This role is responsible for providing direct support and training to the Shire's Information and Communications Technology users in their use of corporate information systems specialising in geographic information systems. The role is also responsible for the maintenance, integration, development and promotion of the corporate information systems and associated data.
Benefits and Conditions
Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government Officers' (WA) Award 2021 with a salary payable of Level 7 ($92,816 to $97,556) per annum, depending on qualifications and experience and benefits such as:
- Superannuation of 12 per cent occupational superannuation from date of commencement, with an opportunity that the Shire will match an employee's voluntary contribution to their nominated plan provided that employee contributes an amount of at least 5 per cent or 6 per cent of their own salary.
- Fulltime position located at the Harvey Administration Building however, may be required to work at other locations throughout the Shire
- One rostered day off is available after every 19 working days. Rostered days off cannot be accumulated.
- A probationary period of three months is applicable to the position.
- Four weeks paid annual leave, including a 17.5 per cent leave loading.
- Free membership to the Leschenault Leisure Centre, the Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre and the Dr Peter Topham Memorial Swimming Pool.
- A medical examination and a current police clearance will be required prior to appointment, costs to be reimbursed by the Shire.
