About the Role

We have new opportunities available to join us at Service Stream as a Service Desk Analyst. This is a great platform for someone looking to grow their career in an expanding ASX listed leader in its field. These will initially be offered as a 12-month contract, with the potential to become permanent.

Roles are available at our modern Melbourne Head Office (featuring a balcony, BBQ area, collaborative and quiet spaces and an abundance of natural light), and at our WA office in Welshpool.

About the role

Working as part of a team, you will be the first point of contact for all 1st, 2nd and basic 3rd level IT related issues for internal and external customers. You will provide effective IT support over the phone, on-site or via the CRM suite, for supporting desktops, applications, connectivity issues and minor hardware issues.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Diagnosing and troubleshooting advanced technical issues, including software and hardware configurations before being assigned to EUC team.

- Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to service requests and providing regular updates on progress.

- Identifying and recommending improvements to the current IT support processes and tools.

- Maintaining and updating all necessary support documentation.

- Assisting with ongoing maintenance of IT asset registers.

- Travel both within state and interstate as required.

- Having flexible availability and participation for all rotating rostered shifts to cover service desk hours (7am – 8pm AEST Monday to Friday).

- Mentoring and training more junior members as required.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have:

- Previous experience in a similar role providing IT service desk support.

- Formal IT qualifications are highly desirable but not essential.

- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders both over the phone and electronically.

- Ability to work collaboratively as a team, and autonomously when required.

- Valid driver's licence.
