WA Health is recruiting for a Budget Analyst to join the Budget & Business Reporting team. This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Salary: PSO Level 4 $95,782 - $100,526 per annum

Position Profile

We are seeking suitably experienced and enthusiastic persons to join our Budget & Business Reporting team.

Responsibilities

The Budget Analyst will contribute to the development of business reports and the allocation of resources to Budget Holders. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Support a range of aspects of the Health annual budget process, including overall project planning, preparation of annual budget submission, Mid-Year Review, resource allocation to Business Units.
- Maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders to support the outcomes of specific work assignments.
- Support the development, implementation, maintenance and dissemination of advice regarding policies, practices and protocols relating to budgetary issues at a whole-of-system level.
- Support research in identifying trends, problems and issues impacting on or potentially impacting on the health system’s actual and forecast Budget position, and formulating appropriate solutions.
