ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Reporting to the
    Head of Fundraising and Digital
    , the Fundraising & Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and strategic use of PCYC NSW's CRM data. You'll provide deep analysis of donor behaviour, workplace giving trends, campaign performance, fundraising appeals and event performance, and marketing activity to guide data-driven decision making. You will: Manage, maintain, and enhance the fundraising and marketing CRM database, ensuring high standards of data quality and compliance.
  • Extract, analyse, and interpret donor, campaign, workplace giving and marketing data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Develop and automate dashboards, performance reports, and segmentation models to support fundraising and marketing teams.
  • Support the design and execution of targeted campaigns by providing segmentation, personalisation, and channel insights.
  • Monitor and analyse digital fundraising and marketing activity, including web analytics and digital ad performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to build data literacy and improve CRM usage.
  • Provide donor, corporate partner and workplace giving donor journey and insights reporting to improve supporter engagement strategies and optimise conversion pathways.
  • Prepare reports to demonstrate the ROI from our marketing campaigns, fundraising and corporate partnership campaigns for all our sport and recreation, driver education, and OOSH / Vacation Care marketing campaigns
  • Ensure compliance with privacy laws, data protection policies, and fundraising regulations.

ABOUT US

Established in 1937, PCYC NSW is a life-changing charity collaborating in partnership with communities and NSW Police to empower youth, get kids active in life, and reduce and prevent youth crime. We have sixty-six clubs and eighteen OOSH services across NSW, with a vision for significant growth.

Our aim is to engage with and positively influence over 70,000 youth members through mainstream sport, recreation, education, leadership, and cultural programs. We also work with at-risk youth to break the cycle of disadvantage through crime prevention, vocational education, youth capacity building, and social responsibility programs to enhance the life direction and outcomes of over 7,500 youth per year.

ABOUT YOU

You're a collaborative and detail-focused analyst with proven experience in CRM management and marketing/fundraising analytics. You have a knack for turning numbers into narratives and strategies and thrive when working with diverse teams to solve problems and achieve impact.

YOU WILL HAVE:

  • A strong alignment with PCYC NSW's values: Respect, Community, Integrity, Commitment, and Resilience.
  • Tertiary qualifications in data analytics, marketing, business, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience managing CRM databases, with a specialty in Non-Profit Cloud systems (e.g., Salesforce NPSP or similar).
  • Strong skills in data extraction, manipulation, and analysis, with proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience in donor journey mapping and insights reporting to guide strategic fundraising and marketing decisions.
  • Experience working with marketing and fundraising teams to deliver data-driven insights.
  • Knowledge of digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to present findings to non-technical audiences.
  • An understanding of privacy, data protection, and fundraising compliance requirements.
