Based in Mount Hawthorn, Key Factors is one of the largest privately owned factoring companies in Australia. We are seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic Accounts / Admin Assistant to join our friendly team. This role is offered as a 12-month maternity leave cover, with real potential for ongoing employment based on performance and business needs. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Processing daily payments, including EFTs
  • Performing bank reconciliations
  • Preparing and generating reports
  • Liaising with clients and debtors, assisting with account enquires
  • Performing accurate data entry, including processing invoices
  • Answering incoming phone calls and providing friendly customer service

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including phone etiquette
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A willingness and ability to quickly learn new software systems
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

The ideal candidate will maintain a professional and neat personal presentation, demonstrate reliability and punctuality, and possess previous experience in an office or accounts role. This is a part-time position, working Monday to Friday, with 25 hours per week. Work hours will be between 8:30 AM and 2:00 PM, allowing for some adaptability for the right candidate.
