Atlas Copco's Power Technique business area provides air, power and flow solutions through products such as mobile air compressors, dewatering pumps, light towers and power generators, along with a number of complementary products.

Role:

As the Technical Support and Training Specialist, you will have overall responsibility for providing technical support and training on our products and services within the Power and Light division. Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely responses to service division inquiries, supporting escalated queries from equipment sales, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote all PTS products and services within the Power and Light division.
  • Continuously improve efficiency to achieve shorter response times and lower costs.
  • Administer warranty claims, WIP cases, and ECB Campaigns.
  • Liaise with the Power Technique team to coordinate customer contacts, demonstrations, and training.
  • Provide technical support for all products in the field, including fast feedback on emerging technical problems and recommendations for spare stock.
  • Support long-term training development by attending training courses and providing expertise to our National Dealer Network.
  • Keep up to date with the latest product developments and changes within the organization.
  • Retain a minimum of Silver Level competency for Power and Light pillars
  • Support product companies by providing input from field experience for long-term product development.
  • Work with BLMs to help reduce warranty costs through accurate and timely warranty administration.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

  • Relevant electrical or Electrical Engineering tertiary or trade qualifications.
  • Experience in product and technical training.
  • Technical knowledge of lighting, solar/battery power, and generators (desirable)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail.
