The primary purpose of the
Head of Performance
is to work closely with and support the Chief Marketing Officer to develop and execute multi-channel performance marketing campaigns. This role is pivotal in driving customer acquisition and loyalty in a competitive and fast-paced market.
We're seeking a true subject matter expert with a passion for developing B2B account-based marketing strategies across but not limited to paid search, social, affiliate, native, programmatic display & video. The ideal candidate will have strong in-platform experience and a proven ability to create and execute campaigns in Australia and international markets.
A large part of this position is to work with and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external agencies therefore strong written, verbal and presentation skills are a must. Although this is a senior position, rolling your sleeves up and getting your hands dirty will be a big part of it.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and working alongside the Head of Marketing and Marketing Coordinator, you will be a key stakeholder in enabling OMG to hit their lead, revenue and growth targets with the constant improvement of marketing channels being top of mind.
As Head of Performance, you will be responsible for:
- Campaign Strategy & Planning - Lead the development of comprehensive marketing strategies by leveraging digital platforms to drive brand growth, sales, and customer engagement.
- Campaign Execution - Oversee the ideation, planning, QA, optimisation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including but not limited to paid search, social, programmatic display, video, affiliate and native platforms.
- Data & Analytics - Utilise data to forecast, strategise, measure and optimise campaign performance. Leverage MMM and digital attribution models to ensure tracking best practices and reporting accuracy.
- Conversion Rate Optimisation - You will own CRO across key journeys: build a structured testing roadmap, run A/B and multivariate tests, and turn insights into faster pages, cleaner forms, and higher intent flows.
- Creative Optimisation - Lead a performance creative testing framework that balances speed and rigor: briefs with clear hypotheses, rapid iteration on hooks and first frames, disciplined naming, and clean readouts.
- Budget Management - Efficiently manage media budgets across multiple channels, projects and deliverables to ensure work is completed on time and according to agreed budgets.
- Trend Monitoring - Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies and competitor activities. Proactively recommend new ideas to ensure we remain competitive in an evolving media landscape.
- Brand Positioning - Position OMG as the best at what we do with SMEs and large enterprises, continuing our expansion in Australia, while growing our lead generation engine in the USA, UAE, Singapore and beyond.
- Team Collaboration - Work closely with key internal stakeholders to deliver industry leading marketing initiatives. Working hand in hand with sales to ensure marketing and sales are 100% aligned, creating a continual constructive feedback loop to maximise returns from marketing.
- Vendor Relationships - Manage and cultivate strong partnerships with publishers, AdTech vendors, and platforms to drive a strategic test-and-learn approach, enhancing overall campaign performance and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- 10+ years' experience in digital media buying, currently in a performance manager or growth manager looking to take the next step.
- Strong knowledge of performance marketing; paid search, social, programmatic display, video & native. Focusing on marketing that delivers revenue results.
- Have a proven track record coming up with campaign strategies and executing these according to platform best practices.
- Can be hands-on, and are comfortable in driving both strategy and day-to-day execution
- Excited about working in an always changing and evolving industry.
- Have a positive and can-do attitude with hands on experience with managing internal stakeholders and external vendors.

- Experience of both Agency and Client side an advantage
- Must be able to work in Australia
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Google, Meta, Google Marketing Platform and HubSpot certifications would be highly desirable
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft 365 and Google Docs
