With a strong leadership team and an ambitious growth agenda, our client is now seeking a brand-new Head of Growth to bring discipline, predictability, and performance uplift to its Business Development and Marketing functions.
About the Role
The Head of Growth is a strategically minded, internally focused commercial leader — responsible for building a high-performing, data-driven growth engine across our client's BD and Marketing teams. This is not a frontline sales or networking role. Instead, it's a pivotal leadership position focused on driving structure, accountability, and operational excellence to deliver predictable, high-quality pipeline outcomes.
You'll partner closely with the Head of Client Relations to ensure that strong pipeline management and disciplined conversion frameworks translate directly to contract wins and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach an 8-person Business Development and Marketing team, embedding a culture of accountability and performance.
- Strengthen pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and conversion discipline across the business.
- Implement structured cadence frameworks for reporting, deal validation, and pipeline reviews.
- Oversee CRM utilisation, KPI setting, and marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Use data and analytics to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities — and implement practical remedies.
- Partner with the Head of Client Relations to ensure seamless handover and progression of qualified opportunities.
- Drive performance-focused collaboration between BD and Marketing to lift inbound lead quality and SQL outcomes.
To Be Considered for This Role, You Will Need to Demonstrate:
- Proven success leading commercial or sales operations teams in complex, project-based environments.
- Strong analytical and data-driven approach to revenue performance management.
- Executive-level communication skills, with the confidence to coach, challenge, and build accountability across teams.
- Ability to create structure and rhythm in sales operations — with rigor around forecasting, CRM accuracy, and KPIs.
- Experience leading both BD and Marketing functions, with a focus on measurable performance rather than brand activity.
- Commercial maturity, empathy, and the ability to quickly identify and close capability gaps within a team.
