Our opportunity:

We are seeking a data-driven professional to support our Customer Service team by collecting and analysing data, developing and maintaining reports, and delivering actionable insights. This role is key to enabling informed, evidence-based decision making.

The key focus areas of this role include:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate reporting requirements, define scope, prioritise tasks, and plan effective reporting solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using platforms such as TechnologyOne and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Conduct data analysis and produce regular reports with insights and recommendations to support decision making and performance monitoring.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that advance the digital transformation of Council services, systems, and processes, delivering better community outcomes.

About you:

We're looking for an experienced Data and Reporting Officer skilled in Microsoft Power BI and SQL.

What you will bring to our team:

  • Proven experience in data analysis and visualisation using Microsoft Power BI, with a strong understanding of SQL.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A proactive approach with the flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
