**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Reporting to the Head of ICT, this role will primarily be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, maintaining and supporting the generation of business reports and dashboards. This role will leverage existing business intelligence tools to drive greater efficiency and standardisation in report generation to achieve higher operational insight and self-service levels.

**WHAT'S INVOLVED**:

- Examine and evaluate the purpose and content of business reports to develop new or improve existing format, use, and control.
- Review reports to determine basic characteristics, such as origin and report flow, format, frequency, distribution, and purpose or function of the report.
- Collaborate with the procurement team and partners originating, handling, and processing reports to identify problems and use insights to recommend process improvements.
- Recommend and document the establishment of new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information.
- Prepare and issue instructions concerning the generation, completion, and distribution of reports according to new or revised practices, procedures, or policies of reports management.
- Understand new system changes affecting data sources, reports, and reporting systems and make the necessary changes to existing reports.
- Design, build, and implement new report formats and layouts on a customised basis, including the required functional specifications, testing plans and support documentation.

**YOU WILL NEED**:
There are a few essential tools you will need under your belt to be successful in this role:

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in analytics, reporting and report development.
- Advanced skills in Excel, SQL and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Strong data experience - understanding of data management, data lifecycle, data warehouses, data architecture and metadata management
- Experience in working with stakeholders and a range of data from different departments
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365, Azure data platform, and PowerApps is a plus
- Proven capability around delivering good quality solutions and technical documentation
- High Attention to detail
