I am looking for an experienced tutor who can teach me how to make improvements to my business website and my Google Business Profile. I want to learn the skills to manage these updates myself. Lessons will be conducted one-on-one via Zoom or similar online platform. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys teaching practical digital skills and can explain things in a clear easy - way - to - understand.

What I want to learn:

Website Skills (WordPress or Similar):

  • How to Edit and update website content

  • How to improve meta titles, descriptions & page structure

  • How to add location pages & service pages

  • How to update images, alt tags & internal links

  • Basic on page SEO best practices

  • How to check site performance (speed, mobile - friendly etc.)

Google Business Profile

  • How to optimize my profile

  • How to add services, products, Q&A and posts

-How to upload and manage photos

  • How to monitor GBP Insights

  • How to encourage and manage reviews

General SEO Skills

  • Understanding keywords

  • Writing SEO friendly content

  • Local SEO (ranking in suburbs / "near me" searches)

Requirements:

-Experience with SEO, local SEO, and Google business profile

  • Ability to teach beginners in a patient step- by- step manner

  • Experience with WordPress

  • Good communication skills

  • Reliable internet connection

  • Ability to provide screen sharing demonstrations

  • Ability to complete the task when the student is not grasping the content

Preferred But Not Essential:

  • Experience working with tradesman, service based business

  • Understanding of plumbing industry SEO (bonus only)

Session Structure

  • 1 hour sessions ( weekly or fortnightly)

  • Practical exercises and real examples using live website

  • Screen share demonstrations + guided practice

  • Homework or follow -up tasks

Pay Rate

  • Negotiable depending on experience( Please include your hourly rate when you apply)
