Medical Student Writers Wanted – Travel Health Content for Glide Online Travel Clinic

Location: Remote (Australia-based preferred)

Type: Casual, flexible hours

Duration: 12 months (approx.)

Pay: $20–25 per article/page (total project budget $5,000–6,000)

Start: Summer break 2025

About the Role

Glide Online Travel Clinic is expanding its website with high-quality travel health content — including destination pages and country-specific travel risk summaries. We're looking for 3–5 motivated medical students with strong writing and research skills to help create around 280 pages of travel medicine content over the next year.

This role suits medical students who enjoy writing, public health, or travel medicine, and who'd like experience translating medical knowledge into accessible, evidence-based web content.

What You'll Do

  • Research and write concise, well-structured articles about travel health risks and vaccination requirements for different destinations.
  • Follow our content guidelines for tone, structure, and SEO.
  • Review and update existing articles as needed.
  • Work collaboratively in Shopify, with editorial feedback provided.

What We're Looking For

  • Current medical student (any year) or recent graduate.
  • Strong written communication and attention to accuracy.
  • Interest in global health, infectious disease, or travel medicine.
  • Reliable and able to meet deadlines.
  • Prior writing or editing experience is a bonus, but not required.
