The
Role

Reporting into the Business Development Manager as a core part of the Truckmate team, you will be responsible for:

  • Relationship Management:
    Serving as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of established and prospective clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Sales Growth:
    Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within your accounts to expand the use of Truckmate's full product range.
  • Strategic Planning:
    Developing and executing strategic account plans to meet and exceed sales targets and budgets.
  • Product Expertise:
    Becoming a trusted advisor to clients on the technical features and benefits of our mudflaps, mudguards, and spray suppression components.
  • Market Feedback:
    Providing valuable insights to our product development
    and management teams
    to keep Truckmate ahead of industry trends.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Proven experience in a B2B Account Management or Sales role, ideally within the heavy vehicle, automotive, or manufacturing sectors.
  • A strong, demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • The ability to understand technical product specifications and articulate their value proposition to a non-technical audience.
  • A valid Australian driver's license and willingness to travel as required to meet clients.
