Technical Training Manager - Financial Services | Tax

Location – you choose - Sydney | Melbourne | Brisbane | Adelaide

Full-time or part-time (0.8 FTE) | Hybrid working | National role with limited travel

Are you a Chartered Accountant looking to leverage your deep technical tax knowledge in a leadership role that shapes capability and learning across a national firm?

We're seeking a
Technical Training Manager
to join a Tax division within a leading professional services firm.

This newly created role is ideal for someone with strong technical tax experience who's passionate about coaching, developing others and driving excellence in professional learning.

About the role

Reporting to the National Tax Quality and Excellence Lead, you'll oversee and deliver technical training across national Tax teams.

  • Designing, coordinating and managing technical training programs for Tax professionals at all levels
  • Collaborating with senior leaders and subject matter experts to ensure learning content is current and aligned with business needs
  • Managing the national training schedule, budget and delivery outcomes
  • Developing and curating tax technical materials for both internal learning and external thought leadership
  • Leading key national training projects and initiatives
  • Some interstate travel will be required (approximately twice per year per office).

About you

You're a
CA-qualified tax professional
(Big Four or Mid-Tier background preferred) with at least 3 years' post-qualified experience. You bring:

  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation and practice
  • A passion for learning, training and knowledge-sharing
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to design, review and continuously improve training content
