12 month minimum contract starting ASAP.

About the Role:

You'll take ownership of ServiceNow CMDB design, configuration, and ongoing maintenance—ensuring data quality, governance, and alignment with best practice frameworks like CSDM 4.0/5.0+. You'll work closely with technology and process teams to mature SACM, drive integration, and support wider ServiceNow initiatives.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, configure, and maintain ServiceNow CMDB for enterprise environments
  • Implement and enhance Service Asset & Configuration Management (SACM) processes
  • Establish and enforce data governance—including CI lifecycle, ownership, and control alignment
  • Apply deep knowledge of Common Service Data Model (CSDM 4.0/5.0+) in practical settings
  • Configure CI classes, relationships, service maps, and dependency views
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and optimise Discovery and Service Mapping
  • Analyse and remediate data quality issues (duplicates, stale CIs, orphans, incorrect relationships)
  • Integrate CMDB with Change Management—defining CI selection, assignment/approval logic, and impact analysis
  • Define and implement CMDB KPIs and controls to ensure completeness, compliance, and correctness
  • Lend your ServiceNow skills to broader platform initiatives as needed

What You Bring:

  • Strong hands-on ServiceNow CMDB experience—design, configuration, and ongoing management
  • Proven track record maturing SACM processes and enforcing data governance
  • In-depth knowledge and real-world implementation of CSDM 4.0/5.0+
  • Experience building and maintaining service maps, dependency views, and Discovery integrations
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and optimising CMDB data quality and service relationships
  • Confident integrating CMDB with Change Management and defining relevant controls/KPIs
  • Collaborative, solutions-focused, and able to work across teams
