We are seeking an experienced
Appian Senior Developer
with strong expertise in Appian BPM and hands-on development experience to design, develop, and deliver scalable business process solutions. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, architecture teams, and junior developers, ensuring delivery of high-quality, business-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement business process solutions using
    Appian BPM
    (Tempo, Records, Reports, Smart Services, Mobility, etc.).
  • Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions that drive measurable business value.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, conduct workshops, and design process models and interfaces.
  • Define and maintain architecture and design-level standards across Appian applications.
  • Perform testing, deployment, and post-production support of Appian solutions.
  • Lead and mentor junior developers; provide guidance on best practices, coding standards, and troubleshooting.
  • Work in an
    Agile
    project environment, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment to align business and IT goals.
  • Contribute to the creation and documentation of current and target operating models.
  • Ensure optimal performance of Appian applications and integration with enterprise systems.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–8 years of overall experience
    with a minimum of
    5 years in Appian BPM
    .
  • Current Appian Level 2 Certified
    (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of BPM fundamentals, Appian architecture, and product features.
  • Hands-on experience with Appian Designer, Analyst View, and building business process models.
  • Expertise in Appian components:
    Tempo, Records, Smart Services, Reports, Deployment, Mobility features, Forums, Discussions, Pages, Interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of
    business process flows
    and ability to document functional and business requirements.
  • Knowledge of
    Java, J2EE, JavaScript, XML, Ajax, XSLT
    (for extensions and integrations).
  • Proven track record of delivering large and complex solutions in an international or enterprise environment.
  • Experience with
    scenario-based requirements gathering
    and running stakeholder workshops.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience in leading small teams (5–7 members) and mentoring juniors.
  • Knowledge of Appian Administration and application servers (
    JBoss / WebSphere / WebLogic
    ).
  • Prior experience designing target operating models and contributing to enterprise-level architecture.
  • Appian advanced certifications (beyond L2).
