Location: Papua, Indonesia

Rotation: 8 weeks on, 4 weeks off or 6 weeks on, 3 weeks off

Shift Length: 12 hours

Compensation: Redpath offers a comprehensive wage and benefit package

Travel: Flights provided from point of hire to job site

Conditions of Employment:Successful completion of pre-employment medical and substance abuse test

Accommodations: Camp setting

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and provide QA/QC of Preventative Maintenance & daily servicing and ensure backlogs are captured and performed as required.
  • Assist the National mechanics with technical issues and maintenance procedures.
  • Provide technical assistance and knowledge transfer on all mechanical repairs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in underground mining
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Sandvik jumbo machine include DD 422i experience.
  • Physically Fit and have excellent manual handling skills and be able to handle heavy tools and equipment
  • Trade certificate (Diesel)
  • Excellent knowledge of breakdowns and first response problem solving
  • Safety & goal Oriented
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to travel and remain away for extended periods of time
