Perth, Western Australia MPI Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

MPI are pleased to partner with and ASX listed gold miner with multiple producing assets in their portfolio. We are seeking multiple Underground HD Fitters, Drill Fitters, as well as some Workshop Fitters.

MPI have been engaged to assist the staffing-up process as they transition to an owner-operator model. 

These roles will be offered on a permanent, full-time basis, direct on the books with our client. Full details below; 

About the role:

  • Fully equipped workshop
  • Most maintenance completed on site to assist in upskilling the team
  • All crews have fitters, auto-electrician, plus floating assistance among crews
  • 3x Trucks, 6x Boggers (4x tele-remote capable), 3x Jumbos, 2x Charge wagons, 2x Solo's, 4x IT's
  • Sandvik Jumbo's (twin boom) and Solo's, CAT Boggers, Epiiroc Trucks, Normet Charge wagon, Volvo IT's.

About you:

  • You will possess a strong collaborative approach to work as well as being detailed focused and have a strong focus on outcomes & results
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • We are also looking for people that are committed to getting the task completed and having the right attitude
  • Punctuality along with a great can-do attitude is a must.

Key requirements:

  • Australian approved trade HDDF Certificate
  • Unrestricted manual driver's licence along with a recent or attainable NPC
  • At least 2 years post trade experience
  • Underground exposure desirable, however we are prioritising enthusiasm along with great skillsets, so we will also look at Drill fitters, surface fitters, also people that started U/G but went to work in different facets of the trade
  • Note there is a regular team that go on breakdowns underground, but all personnel are expected to also do this as required.
