Perth, Western Australia MPI Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

MPI are excited to partner with Vault Minerals to appoint Underground HD Fitters, as they transition their Deflector gold mine to an owner operator model. Assisting with their transition to an owner-operator model, these roles with be offered on a permanent full-time basis. Labour hire options will also be available. 

We are also seeking UG Drill Fitters, LV Fitters and Workshop Fitters.

About the role:

  • Fully equipped workshop
  • All crews have fitters, auto electrician, plus floating assistance amount crews
  • 3x Trucks, 6x Boggers (4x Tele-remote capable), 3x Jumbos, 2x Charge wagons, 2 Solo's, 4x IT's
  • Sandvik Jumbo's (twin boom) and Solo's, CAT Boggers, Epiroc Trucks, Normet Charge wagon, Volvo IT's.

About you:

  • You will possess a strong collaborative approach to work as well as being detailed focused and have a strong focus on outcomes & results
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • We are seeking people that are committed to getting the task completed and having the right attitude
  • Vault Minerals pride themselves on a collaborative approach, therefore the ability to work closely with your team with a great can-do attitude is a must.

Key requirements:

  • Hold relevant trade certifications
  • 2+ years post trade experience (essential)
  • Current C-class driver's licence
  • Hold a current national police clearance
  • Underground exposure desirable, however we are prioritising enthusiasm along with great skillsets, so we will also look at Drill fitters, surface fitters, also people that started U/G but went to work in different facets of the trade
  • There is a regular team that go on breakdowns underground, but all personnel are expected to also do this as required.
