Are you passionate about travel and enjoy creating memorable experiences for others? We're looking for a Tour Coordinator to join our Sydney Group DMC team at JTB Australia

In this exciting and fast-paced role, you'll coordinate group and individual tours across Australia, prepare quotations for Japanese customers, and help deliver exceptional service that showcases the very best of Australia. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and ready to grow in the tourism industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to booking enquiries and prepare accurate, competitive quotations
  • Negotiate with suppliers and plan customised itineraries
  • Research and develop new tourism content and proposals
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers
  • Provide high-quality customer service and promptly resolve issues
  • Support other team members and assist with general office duties
Essential Criteria:
  • Achievement orientation and strong attention to detail
  • Commercial awareness and customer service focus
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Japanese and English
  • Initiative, teamwork, and quality-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Desirable Criteria:
  • Previous experience in the travel or tourism industry
  • Sales or negotiation experience
  • Good telephone and communication skills
  • Creative thinking and process improvement mindset
