About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Development Coordinator to join our dynamic Commercial team. This is a pivotal support role that acts as the backbone of our business development function, ensuring the team can operate at maximum efficiency.
You will be instrumental in driving our growth by coordinating key activities, managing vital information, and providing the insights we need to succeed. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to build a career in the exciting world of events and technology.
RequirementsWhat a day in the life looks like?
- Team Support & Coordination: Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Business Development and Commercial team, assisting with day-to-day planning.
- Database Management: Take ownership of our CRM system, ensuring all client data, sales activities, and pipeline information is accurately maintained and up to date.
- Document Preparation: Assist in drafting, formatting, and proofreading key commercial documents, including proposals, presentations, sales collateral, and client agreements.
- Project & Milestone Tracking: Monitor the progress of new business opportunities and key projects. Track milestones, follow up on action items, and ensure deadlines are met, keeping the team informed of any developments.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and new revenue opportunities within the live event landscape.
- Competitor Analysis: Actively monitor competitor activity, products, and pricing, summarising key findings and providing regular insights to the team to inform our strategic approach.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly sales reports, pipeline forecasts, and performance dashboards for team meetings and senior management.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule internal and external meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute minutes to ensure clear communication and follow-through.
About You
You are a master of organisation with an exceptional eye for detail. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being the go-to person who keeps everything on track. You are a natural communicator, a team player, and possess a genuine desire to learn and grow.
Key Skills & Experience
Required:
1-3 years of experience in a coordinator, sales support, team assistant, or similar administrative role.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Suite.
- Prior experience using a CRM system is highly regarded.
A proactive, self-starting attitude with a strong sense of initiative and an ambition to grow professionally.
Desirable:
A passion for and knowledge of the live music, sport, events, or entertainment industry.
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in a B2B sales or business development environment.
