We are seeking a reliable, organised, and customer-focused team member to support sales, yard operations, and administrative tasks.

Role Overview

As our Yard Sales & Admin Assistant, you will help ensure smooth operations between the sales front, the yard area, and the office. You'll be a point of contact for customers, maintain paperwork, keep the yard organised, and liaise with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers, assist with sales enquiries (in person, phone, email)
  • Prepare quotes, invoices, contracts, and other sales documentation
  • Enter data into CRM / sales / inventory systems
  • Assist with order fulfillment and yard logistics (movement of stock, arranging loading, ensuring items are ready)
  • Maintain yard organisation, safety, and cleanliness
  • Coordinate with warehouse / delivery teams to schedule pickups/deliveries
  • Monitor inventory levels, reorder stock or materials as needed
  • Assist with reconciliation, filing, and record-keeping
  • Other general admin tasks (filing, scanning, answering phones, liaising with suppliers)
  • Occasionally help with light yard work (lifting, moving materials) when needed

Selection Criteria / Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in sales support, yard or warehouse operations, or admin roles
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Comfortable working in a mixed indoor/outdoor environment
  • Ability to multitask and shift between desk and yard work
  • Basic computer skills (e.g. MS Office, CRM systems, spreadsheets)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Safety mindset and awareness with willingness to follow protocols
