About the Role:
We are seeking an Speech Pathologist to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team in Regional Victoria.

This role focuses on delivering evidence-based therapy for children with communication difficulties, including early childhood stuttering, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), and language delays.

You will work with families, educators, and allied health professionals to provide early intervention, parent coaching, and group therapy programs that support children's communication development and school readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessment and intervention for early childhood stuttering and CAS using evidence-based approaches such as Lidcombe Program, Nuffield Dyspraxia Program, DTTC, and ReST.
  • Deliver parent coaching programs, including Hanen-based interventions (

    ) to build caregiver capacity.
  • Run preschool-aged articulation/phonology and language group therapy programs.
  • Supervise and collaborate with Allied Health Assistants in delivering individual and group therapy.
  • Work within NDIS/ECEI referral systems and contribute to reporting requirements.
  • Support Victoria's School Readiness programs through targeted interventions.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in paediatric community and/or early intervention settings.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary paediatric team.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment and intervention for stuttering, CAS, articulation/phonology, and language delays.
  • Experience delivering parent coaching and group therapy programs.
  • Familiarity with NDIS/ECEI and school readiness programs in Victoria.

Training Requirements:

  • Certification in Lidcombe Program for early childhood stuttering.
  • Certification in Hanen Programs for early language intervention (

  • Optional: Completion of free online self-directed training in DTTC and ReST.
