Internal Technical Sales/Customer Service Consultant

About the business and the role.
We are a world leader in the field of Industrial Automation and Process Controls. Our product range extensively includes Pneumatic, Process valves & actuators, sensors, Electrical drives and turnkey control systems.
Due to substantial sales growth within our company we are looking to bring on board an experienced Internal Technical sales/ customer Service Consultant, based out of our Wetherill Park location to support and promote our product range to a diverse customer base.
Job tasks and responsibilities.
- Selection of Pneumatic and Process control equipment based on customer supplied data.
- Provide quality customer service and support via email, phone, and counter sales.
- Assist customers with technical product selection.
- Prepare and process sales documents and quotations.
- Provide valuable support to the external sales team.
Skills and experience.
- Excellent telephone manner & customer service skills.
- Prior experience in an internal sales role preferred.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work in a timely manner.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with ability to accept responsibility.
- Strong computer literacy and data entry skills - Microsoft Office and Attaché' software.
A mechanical aptitude and/or previous experience in the Pneumatic and Process industry is advantageous.
