This position has been created as part of the recently implemented KU Children's Services Teachers Enterprise Agreement 2025, a landmark development that continues to set new standards within the early childhood education sector. This new agreement reflects KU's ongoing commitment to excellence in educator conditions and professional practice. Key enhancements include increased dedicated time for Educational Leaders and programming, additional child-free days, and up to 15 weeks of paid parental leave, further strengthening KU's comprehensive suite of employee benefits and supports.

The Hours and Service:

Join the team at KU Playford Park Children's Centre, a community-focused long day care in the beautiful parklands of Padstow. Caring for up to 43 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, we offer a warm, inclusive, family-oriented environment where kids thrive.

Open Monday to Friday, 7am to 5:45pm, with free onsite parking and easy access to public transport just minutes from Padstow Train Station.

Our spacious outdoor play area encourages creativity and exploration. If you're seeking a rewarding role in a supportive, family-friendly setting, KU Playford Park is the place for you

This opportunity will see you join the team 3 hours a dau 5 days a week. 

  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check 
  • An ACECQA recognised Certificate III
  • Completed training in Child Protection legislation
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
