Why this role? This is not your typical ER case management role—it's your chance to step into the next stage of your career. You'll use your deep investigations and case handling background as a springboard into an operational, strategic, and project-focused role that builds better leaders, strengthens prevention initiatives, and enhances the team member experience.
Here's why it's exciting:
- Shape the future: Build frameworks that shift ER from reactive to proactive, using insights and trends to design smarter prevention strategies.
- Step into strategy & projects: Leave behind day-to-day caseloads and influence how ER operates across the Group.
- Lead and mentor: Manage a direct report while helping uplift leadership capability across a diverse workforce.
- Impact at scale: Work across Australia and New Zealand, supporting retail, supply chain, and corporate environments in a complex, fast-paced matrix structure.
- Make your mark: Pick up the reins, deliver initiatives, and leave a legacy in a valued, trusted ER team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Stay Future-Focused – Keep practices compliant and forward-looking by tracking employment law changes and industry best practice.
- Lift Leader Capability – Translate complex ER concepts into practical, engaging learning leaders can confidently apply.
- Lead Projects & Initiatives – Drive prevention-focused ER projects, change programs, and continuous improvement roadmaps.
- Own ER Resources – Oversee policies, templates, and knowledge hubs, ensuring they're accurate, accessible, and impactful.
- Turn Data into Action – Build reporting and insights that uncover trends and guide prevention strategies.
- Champion Continuous Improvement – Streamline ER processes for efficiency, compliance, and sustainability.
- Support Critical Cases – Provide expertise on high-risk matters and step in for overflow when needed.
What You'll Bring
- Investigations Experience – Senior-level case management skills, ready to be leveraged in a broader operational and strategic context.
- ER Expertise – Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand employment law and ER best practice.
- Project Mindset – Proven ability to deliver projects, enhance systems, and build scalable processes.
- Analytical Thinking – Confidence in interpreting data, spotting trends, and driving actionable insights.
- Influence & Communication – Ability to simplify complexity, influence stakeholders, and drive capability uplift.
Why Join Us?
- Move beyond investigations and step into operations, strategy, and prevention.
- Shape ER practices that truly influence leadership capability and team member experience.
- Be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking People & Safety team that values expertise, innovation, and impact.
- Enjoy a dynamic, complex retail environment where no two days look the same.
If you're ready to step up and make a lasting impact on ER operations across Australia and New Zealand, this is your opportunity. Apply now and take the next big step in your ER career.
