ABOUT THE ROLE
Live Payments is seeking a proactive and experienced IT Systems & Support Lead to join our growing team - ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work while also providing leadership and direction to small offshore IT support teams in the Philippines and Vietnam. Reporting to the Technology Director, you will combine your deep technical expertise with people management capabilities, leading the IT support function to deliver timely, high-quality services to employees, while also overseeing the maintenance and improvement of systems and infrastructure in line with security and compliance standards.
Core responsibilities:
Technical Operations & Systems Administration
- Provide Level 3 and 4 IT support to local and offshore teams.
- Establish and maintain user workstations, user accounts, and access rights across Windows, Mac, and mobile platforms.
- Manage local network infrastructure, VPNs, and system upgrades.
- Support enterprise platforms like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, and endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune).
- Ensure security policies (e.g., MFA, encryption) are implemented and enforced.
Service Management & Delivery
- Oversee support ticketing systems (Freshservice) ensuring SLAs are consistently met.
- Own the escalation process for complex or high-priority incidents.
- Define and analyse support metrics to drive service improvements and reduce downtime.
- Maintain/improve IT support workflows.
Compliance, Security & Audits
- Ensure IT policies are in line with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and internal compliance requirements.
- Manage audit preparation, IT asset tracking, and reporting.
Team Leadership & Offshoring
- Lead and mentor a small, distributed IT support team, including managing performance and professional development.
- Assist with the management of resource planning and recruitment.
Training & Enablement
- Deliver IT onboarding for new hires and provide system training sessions.
- Create clear documentation and user guides to empower internal users.
- Maintain an IT knowledge base for both technical and end-user reference.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
- At least 5 years of IT experience, including 2 years managing IT support or systems administration functions.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory, and MDM platforms (e.g., Intune).
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows and Mac OS, networking, and cloud environments.
- People management experience.
- Familiarity with PCI DSS and ISO 27001 compliance processes advantageous.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles and service desk tools (ITIL Certification desirable).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative style and the ability to work autonomously.
- Strong attention to detail, organised, proactive and solutions focused.
- Availability to provide occasional after-hours support/assist with critical IT issues as needed.
- Occasional domestic and international travel required.
