ABOUT THE ROLE

An opportunity exists for an Accounts Officer to join the Finance Team. This role will primarily support the team in completing daily bank reconciliations and the processing of invoices, other key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Assisting with the preparation and processing of payment runs
  • Processing of accrual, prepayments, and subsequent journals
  • Maintenance of Bank Guarantee Register
  • Preparing and circulating debtor/creditor reports each month
  • Assisting in the production of payment reports
  • Supplier statement reconciliation
  • Debtor ledger chasing where required

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous accounts experience (in the Construction or Property industry desirable)
  • Experience with financial systems (such as MYOB, Jobpac Connect, and ProSpend is preferred but not essential) and Microsoft Office.
  • A desire to work in a highly motivated team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
