About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Technology Support Specialist to join our growing team at Cyberry at our head office in Miami, Queensland.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety : supporting IT systems, network infrastructure, and audio-visual technology across venues in the hospitality industry.

You'll provide both on-site and remote support to clients, so strong communication skills and a professional approach are essential. The role includes troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance work, with occasional physical setup and cabling tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and maintain IT and AV systems across client venues.
  • Assist with software and hardware setup, configuration, and updates.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients.
  • Support and maintain Microsoft Server and Active Directory networks.
  • Work with network infrastructure, including running and terminating CAT6 cabling.
  • Collaborate with our team and partners on new technology projects and installations.

About You

  • You have 
    intermediate IT skills
    , especially with Microsoft environments.
  • You're familiar with 
    networks, servers, and AV systems
    .
  • Most importantly, you're 
    comfortable working with systems you don't fully understand,
    using general principles of problem solving, tinkering, and figuring things out as you go.
  • You enjoy 
    problem-solving
     and learning on the fly.
  • You have 
    great people skills
     and take pride in helping clients.
  • You're 
    hands-on
     and not afraid to get involved in practical work.

Essential Requirements

  • Current driver's licence.
  • Ability to provide a 
    Police Certificate
    .
  • Eligibility for a Security Providers Licence (QLD) or Class 2C Licence (NSW).

Desirable

  • Qualifications in IT, Electrotechnology, or related fields.
  • Experience in hospitality or venue environments.
