Profitable Tradie is a fast-growing coaching and consulting company helping plumbing, electrical, and other trade business owners across New Zealand, Australia, and North America.
Our mission is to eradicate entrepreneurial poverty within the sub-trades industry by helping business owners scale through marketing, systems, teams, and financial strategy.
Outbound sales are at the heart of how we connect with new clients. We focus on quality conversations, trust, and relationships that turn into meaningful business outcomes. And that's where you come in.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll lead a team of Outbound Sales Reps (Connectors), ensuring they consistently generate highly engaged prospects for triage calls. You'll manage performance, develop strategy, and foster a high-performing, values-aligned culture.
You will:
- Train and lead a team of Connectors focused on initiating and nurturing qualified sales conversations
- Set clear performance expectations, KPIs, and daily activity standards for the team
- Conduct weekly 20s, group call reviews, 1-on-1 coaching, and performance reviews to improve conversion rates
- Foster a high-performance, values-aligned sales culture focused on quality, integrity, and results
- Design and implement outbound call strategies, scripts, and offers, tracking effectiveness
- Recruit, headhunt, and maintain a 'hotlist' of potential team members
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly call metrics, ensuring targets are met or exceeded
- Ensure accurate CRM data entry, pipeline management, and follow-up processes
- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to streamline the outbound sales process
- Uphold the company's mission, values, and commitment to transformation in every client interaction
- Prepare and present weekly reports to leadership on key sales metrics, trends, and forecasts
- Maximise CRM call lists to ensure no contacts are missed
- Continuously research new tools and software to reach more prospects and improve efficiency
