Job Description
Your opportunity
We're looking for a self-starter and a highly motivated Property Manager who will take the lead in support of the Port Authority's Property Portfolio and related systems while fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You'll play a pivotal role in optimising our property portfolio and delivering exceptional service across all touchpoints .
This is a permanent full-time role based in Walsh Bay and close to the Barangaroo metro station reporting into Senior Manager, Property.
The role promotes a customer-centric culture by ensuring high-quality service delivery aligned with the Port Authority's vision, values and customer strategy.

- Supporting the Manager in aligning property strategies with corporate goals—enhancing asset value, performance, ROI, cash flow, and customer satisfaction
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, licensees, and lessees, ensuring clear communication of Port Authority's interests
- Assisting in the negotiation and renewal of leases and licences across the portfolio
- Preparing, reviewing, and monitoring property budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
- Ensuring tenant compliance with lease conditions, including rent payments, insurance, security, and guarantees
- Managing timely payment of statutory outgoings—council rates, parking levies (including exemption applications), and water/sewer charges
Desired Skills And Experience
What you will bring:
- Extensive experience managing varied property portfolios and stakeholder relationships
- A customer-first mindset, with strong relationship management and service delivery skills
- High-level proficiency in preparing, reports, briefings and documentation for senior and executive audiences, with meticulous attention to detail
- A self-starter attitude - motivated, proactive and collaborative in team settings
- Solid understanding of lease and licence management, including compliance and legal
- Demonstrated ability to review, implement and enhance systems and processes for greater efficiency
- Strong skills in the MS Office Suite- especially Excel
Essential Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in property, business administration or related field
- Ability to prepare and draft contractual and compliance documentation for executive-level approval
- Highly approachable, personable and capable of building strong working relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders
