First Academy is looking for Diploma Qualified Educators for a Room Leader position available for an immediate start

Role Responsibilities:

  • Experienced, passionate and committed full or part time Room Leader
  • Engage in shared, sustained interactions with children, which build warm, trusting relationships.
  • Establish and foster collaborative partnerships with families to achieve quality learning and development outcomes for children.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and support the Centre performance to exceed all National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Strong knowledge and experience in implementing Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Working with the Educational Leader to plan and implement an educational program, while maintaining ongoing records of the children's development
  • Guide and support assistant educators to create a supportive and co-operative working environment
  • Assisting with daily room tasks
  • Fantastic organisational, teamwork, written and verbal communication skills
