Area Manager (Penrith & Hills District)

Responsibilities include:


• Ensure merchandisers effectively communicate marketing plans and promotional materials at store level


• Approve daily merchandising hours in SIF


• Lead, nurture, and develop your team with respect and trust, while building succession plans for key roles


• Liaise with HR regarding WHS hazards and employee matters including onboarding, training, inductions, performance management, and resignations


• Allocate sufficient merchandiser coverage to each store


• Create and manage roster schedules for all merchandisers


• Manage store-level sales targets with each merchandiser (CORE and SOR)


• Support the State Sales Manager with sales functions and responsibilities


• Report all hazards, accidents, and incidents—including environmental and Chain of Responsibility (COR) matters—promptly and in accordance with company procedures
