About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manager/Senior Stylist to join our dynamic team at High On Hair in Penrith, NSW. As the Manager/Senior Stylist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our salon, while also showcasing your exceptional hairstyling skills. This is a full-time position. Applicants must be willing to work Thursday nights and Saturdays.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and coordinate the salon team, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional customer service
  • Provide high-quality hair cutting, colouring, and styling services to our diverse clientele
  • Develop and implement innovative hairstyles and techniques to meet the latest industry trends
  • Assist in the training and development of junior stylists to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Maintain the salon's inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Contribute to the overall growth and success of the salon through your leadership and expertise

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a hair stylist, with a strong background in cutting, colouring, and styling
  • Proven track record of strong management and leadership skills with a large, diverse team
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • In-depth knowledge of the latest hairstyling trends, techniques, and products
  • Creativity and the ability to translate client preferences into stunning hairstyles
  • Strong time management and organisational skills to ensure the smooth running of the salon
  • Certified in hairstyling and hold a relevant qualification in the Hair & Beauty industry
