Quality Control (QC) and Delivery Coordinator

ROBUK Engineering Pty Ltd is a proudly Australian-owned trailer manufacturer based in Hemmant, specialising in custom steel and aluminium trailers. We are seeking a motivated Quality Control (QC) and Delivery Coordinator to join our growing team and help ensure our trailers are delivered to the highest standards.

About the Role

Reporting to the Production Manager, this role ensures all completed trailers meet strict quality standards and are ready for customer delivery. You will carry out inspections, manage defect reporting, support rectification, and provide direct training and handover to customers.

This is a full-time, permanent role. Our trading hours are:

Monday to Thursday: 6:30am – 4:30pm

Friday: 6:30am – 1:30pm

Key Responsibilities

Inspect trailers for quality, compliance, and build specification

Identify, report, and follow up on defects until rectification

Conduct inspections of trailer combinations to ensure safe operation

Liaise with supervisors and workshop staff to maintain schedules

Provide training and a professional handover for customers

Ensure compliance with WHS procedures, policies, and standards

Skills & Experience

Relevant trade qualification in mechanical fitting, vehicle mechanic, diesel mechanic or coachbuilding

Experience in quality assurance and/or mechanical inspection in manufacturing

Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and equipment safely

Current car licence (Forklift licence and First Aid certificate desirable but not essential)
