We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Controller to join our team at Norris Volkswagen, Kedron.  Our current Workshop Controller will be heading off to new adventures at the end of this year and to ensure we have the right person onboard this position will commence as a hybrid role. You will work a few days a week as a Technician/Quality Controller and 2 days a week in workshop control before transitioning to be our fulltime Workshop Controller.

About this role:

· Lead the workshop team

· Create a positive workplace environment

· Coach and mentor workshop staff

· Customer interactions and road-testing

· Quality control

· Sign off on quality control documentation

· Adhering to checklists and strict quality control standards

· Comply with manufacturer KPIs

· Work with management to achieve business KPIs and targets

· Ensuring that all services and repairs conform to Company and Manufacturer standards

· Keeping technicians and detailers accountable for quality of work

· Oversee vehicle repair, procedures and warranty claims

Must haves:

· Cert III light vehicle automotive

· Minimum 5 years post trade qualification

· Dealership Experience highly regarded

· Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities in a busy fast paced environment

· Ability to interact and engage with Customers

· Team orientated

· Driven to maintain a high standard and reach KPI targets
